Best Practice in Individual Treatment At Bridge, we are committed to the successful resolution of fertility problems - and 'Best Practice' is the discipline which enables us to achieve this objective. Best Practice, first and foremost, recognises that each case is different and that treatment must be planned in a very individual way for each patient. Most important of all, the health and well-being of parent and child is paramount. We cannot ignore the fact that, in a minority of cases, fertility treatment has potential for side effects, a higher incidence of multiple births, prematurity and cerebral palsy. Such risks are carefully assessed and managed at The Bridge Centre. "Best Practice" begins at the first consultation and continues until each individual fertility problem has been resolved. For the majority, the result will be a successful live birth although this might require more than one course of treatment. For some, it will be recognition that fertility treatment is not the solution and that a change of strategy is necessary. Each patient is equally important to The Bridge Centre - no-one is a statistic and no individual interest is neglected. See also - |
